Set within a park of centuries-old and monumental trees crossed by a river, facing a 350-metre-long perspective and overlooking splendid terraced Italian-style gardens, this château, founded in 1195, was extended in the 13th century and later restored in the 17th century in the Italian Renaissance style, notably featuring very large windows and a monumental double-flight staircase. Some rooms display remarkable 18th-century decorative elements, including high-quality wood panelling and stucco work.
